Oh my.....this is wonderful! There is a vibrancy to the light and a depth to the blacks that is most eye-catching and evocative. I love your treatment (orton effect?) and the scene with some human activity off-setting the stunning landscape (this seems to be your signature). Really lovely, Esther.

@Stu: Thank you, Stu, for your thoughtful comment. What I did was run the image through Neat Image, just to see how it would come out - and I got this. It does look Ortonish doesn't it? I decided to use this image instead of one with a huge amount of sky showing because as Ian said, it kind of gives it an apocalyptic feel. You made my day :-D Thanks!
