That is so pretty. When my son saw this in the morning he said "that's my FAVORITE picture". My son is your fan now. Traditionalists may recommend moving the sun's position in the frame off center: but when I tried with my hands different crops, I wouldn't change a thing: it's perfect.

@Bill: Oh thank you so much, Bill! Your comments (and your son!) really made my weekend! I am aware the sun is in the centre - and have tried, as you have, cropping it this way and that, but it still came back to this.

This is exquisite. The exposure is right on and I can see so much detail -- very well done. Not everyone gets this level of detail in low light.

good composition - it looks good even with the dun in the middle - there is a balance about the frame and fine symmetry too! lovely fading light and wonderful dark deep tones!
